Scrum Professionals – How To Measure Team Health
January 5, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm PST
How should we measure and monitor team health? Velocity? Perhaps we can do better than that. Sheena Gladden and Ben Floyd will introduce us to a red, yellow, green system for measuring team health. This assessment system sheds insights into what the team members are really thinking and feeling. It gives the team clear, actionable results that can help guide the team towards greater health and higher performance.
Sheena Gladden has been active in the IT industry for over 25 years in a variety of roles: QA tester, release manager, scrum master, product owner, agile coach, agile transformation coach, mentor, and agile trainer. She has worked in many industries such as financial, manufacturing, healthcare, test assessments, and B2B. She is working towards becoming a Certified Scrum Trainer. She is a co-founder of Women in Agile- Philly and co-leads Scrum Alliance Online Virtual Agile User Group.
Ben Floyd has worked in software development since the late 1990s and his passion has always been for team performance and culture enhancement. He has been a product owner, scrum master, agile coach, trainer, and adjunct faculty teacher. He is currently on the path to earn his Certified Scrum Trainer credential from the Scrum Alliance. When Ben isn’t working, he can be found with a book, traveling, reading to grandchildren or teaching them how to play stand up arcade games from the 1980’s.
